If you use the WordPress platform to power your blog, you can add a subscription form so people can subscribe to your newsletter.


There is two ways to install a subscription form on your blog, in a separate page or in a pop-up window.  In this how-to, we'll explain how to install your subscription form in a pop-up window that will appear on each pages of your blog.


Before you begin, you must first install the Triggered Scroll Boxes plugin on your WordPress blog by following the following procedure. When the plugin installation is completed, you will need to select the contact list for which you want to install a subscription form and copy the HTML markup on your blog by following the instructions below:


Step 1: Install the Triggered Scroll Boxes plugin on your WordPress blog

  1. In the WordPress administration panel, click on the "Plugins" menu, then click on the "Add New" button at the top left.
  2. Search for the "Scroll Triggered Boxes" plugin
  3. Click on the "Install Now" button
  4. Finally, make sure you enable the plugin after its installation.


Step 2: Generate the subscription form

  1. Browse to the main "Contacts" menu and select the contact list for which you want to install a subscription form .
  2. Then, browse through the secondary menu "Subscription Forms" located under the YOUR AUDIENCE block on the right.
  3. Select and copy the automatically generated HTML markup  located in the text box .


Step 3: Add a new pop-up window to your WordPress blog and paste the HTML markup

  1. In the WordPress administration panel, click on the left menu named "Scroll Triggered Boxes" and then click on "Add New"
  2. Paste the subscription form HTML markup generated in the previous step
  3. Click on the "Publish" button and you now have a subscription form in a pop-up window on your blog
  4. Finally, you can customize the pop-up window by changing the appearance settings.
